Louise Halberg Nielsen is a postdoctoral researcher at YOPOW. Her research examines why some groups participate less in politics than others with a key focus on gender and how the political environment shapes men and women’s interest in politics. Methodologically, she combines in-depth interviews, survey experiments, and cross-national surveys to understand these matters.
